Red lipstick - the timeless makeup
I was talking with my friend during the weekend. She was asking about the importance of having flawless makeup & hair on her big day. As you can assume, just like most luxuries hair and makeup is usually one of the first things to go. Or the client thinks they can just have a friend do it. It is understandable. But then the client thinks, since I am not spending the money there... I can get a great photographer or an amazing dress. But the truth is... If you hair and makeup isn't done right... No photographer can correct that. And you dress is secondary to what the bride looks like. So to the "Brides To Be" out there, here is little something about my opinion in this matter:

"Getting ready for the perfect wedding, perfect flowers, perfect dress & shoes, perfect photographer, perfect everything. Yet the first thing anyone looks at is the face of the bride, that is the focal point. Is that a day to leave it to chance? As every star knows, perfect makeup and hair can make or break the best outfit or photo. While I may have less flowers or a simpler dress, my makeup and hair have to be perfect- no running make up, no "off color" that doesn't go with the undertones of the dress, no unflattering photos because the makeup is not camera friendly, no hair falling apart. Any of those things can totally ruin the hard work put in making this a day that will be remember forever as perfect. Considering that it's probably the most important and least expensive of all the preparations- isn't it silly to leave it to chance? Many of the guests will have their hair done before the wedding (I always do before going to an event), shouldn't the bride - the star of the show- deserve the same on her very, very special day?"
